What to Expect
When you arrive at our office, you’ll be greeted by name with a big smile and welcomed as a member of our NDC family! We’ll give you a tour of the office to ensure you are comfortable and feel right at home.
FIRST VISIT
During your first visit with us, we will spend time getting to know you, your health-related needs and expectations and discuss how chiropractic can help you achieve your health goals.
Dr. Harrison and his team will conduct a thorough chiropractic examination to determine if there is evidence of vertebral subluxations (neurological stress). We will gather all the information needed to ensure we are able to help you!
At New Directions Chiropractic, we utilize advanced, state-of-the-art technology that scans the spine and give us (and you) an objective assessment of your nervous system. The benefits of these scans are to detect and pinpoint abnormal function which cannot be seen on X-ray and are generally not felt in the form of pain until the damage is severe. Our Insight technology will disclose how those subluxations affect your organs, glands, muscles & energy level. The scans are completely painless and absolutely safe on children – even infants. Additionally, we utilize this technology to accurately measure your progress as you continue your care with us!
We ask that you plan on spending about 30 minutes with us for your initial visit. Special time considerations are made for infants or children with unique needs. Our staff is trained on knowing if this is needed for you and your child.
SECOND VISIT
At your follow-up appointment, Dr. Harrison will personally go over the results of your examination
We refer to this as your Report of Findings. He’ll discuss his recommendations for care, go over financial information and ensure all of your questions are answered. You will receive your first adjustment and will be on your way in about 20-30 minutes.
REGULAR VISIT
Your subsequent appointments are generally 10 minutes or less. We will always discuss any changes you have in your health and continue to care for you based on your progress and results. In our experience, those who follow the care plan specific to their needs, find that their health improves quicker.
