About the Practice

New Directions Chiropractic is a family chiropractic practice in Allen, Texas, serving families across Collin County and North Dallas. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Jonathon Harrison, DC, who graduated from Parker University in Dallas in 2011 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

The practice focuses on nervous-system focused chiropractic care for the whole family. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, care is oriented around how the brain and body communicate — and how well a person can move, adapt, sleep, digest, and recover. This approach is applied with age-appropriate techniques, from very gentle work with newborns to standard adjustments for adults.

A significant part of the practice is pediatric and prenatal care. Dr. Harrison holds membership in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. The practice offers the Webster Technique for expecting mothers, and sees infants for concerns including torticollis, feeding difficulty, and persistent crying.

The practice is also explicit about scope. Care is intended to support function alongside — not replace — medical care. When a concern falls outside chiropractic scope, patients are referred to their pediatrician or an appropriate specialist.
